Public Speaking and Interview Coaching

Now, more than ever, it’s important to present yourself with confidence at work so that others will feel confident in your abilities. That includes having the ability to connect with your audience and deliver a strong message – whether that is an important project update, or presenting a prepared presentation with slides in front of a large audience.

Dina has been helping individuals improve their public speaking skills for over 3 years Whether you just need to polish up your skills for meetings or need to conquer your fears of public speaking in front of a large audience, she can help you.

After a consultation to discuss your goals, Dina will do a short evaluation and use that information to create an individualized program that will focus on your strengths and use tools to improve in other areas. Her professional experience as a chemical engineer working for a Fortune 100 company, combined with her etiquette certificate and coaching experience provide a unique perspective for helping others succeed. This is not a one day, one-size-fits all program and it is designed to quickly make lasting changes.

This coaching also works excellently for non-native speakers. Dina has experienced living overseas and operating in a non-native language, so she knows what you are experiencing in this situation. Perhaps that is why so many of her clients have been so satisfied with their results. (All three of the videos featured below are with non-native speakers.)

Lessons are offered online, primarily through Zoom. Evening and weekend lesson times are available, although those are in high demand and there may be a waitlist at times. Please contact Queen City Etiquette at dina@qcetiquette.com, or 513-294-8188 (text or voice) to set up a free consultation to learn how public speaking coaching with Dina at Queen City Etiquette can help you achieve your goals.

The recruiting process is officially over, and I am in a good place and now have to decide. This is a good problem to have. I wanted to thank you for all your help. You helped me turn 0 out of 17 into 4 out of 7. Thank you so much for all your support!

Nathan’s Story

Nathan was a rising college sophomore when he came to Queen City Etiquette for one-on-one interviewing and public speaking coaching. He was majoring in business at the University of Michigan. Due to the large size of the business program, students must apply and be selected to most business fraternities and organizations. While he was a good student with excellent grades, Nathan had struggled with the interview portion of the club selection process. After being invited for 17 interviews, he had been rejected by every organization.

Although he knew it would be harder to get into these organizations as a sophomore (especially as a sophomore who had previously been rejected), Nathan was very motivated to improve his interviewing and public speaking skills and try again. After several weeks of private instruction with Dina at Queen City Etiquette, Nathan felt quite confident in his abilities to handle any question he might be asked in an interview. He also had a polished up resume and an in-depth knowledge of business etiquette.

After starting the club application process in the fall, Nathan received seven invitations for interviews. He put his new skills to the test and received offers to join four, including a prestigous one that was one of his top two choices. The investment in lessons paid off multiple times as he has since used those interviewing skills to land very competitive and coveted internships for the subsequent summers and is well on the way to achieving his professional goals of working in the investment industry.
