ENROLL NOW

Due to the interactive nature and small group setting of classes, they have been suspended until social distancing restrictions are lifted. For any questions, or to inquire about virtual lessons, please email me (dina@qcetiquette.com).

I can’t begin to describe how much they enjoyed the class. They wanted to share so much of what they learned and thought you made it a lot of fun.

SCOUT AND OTHER PROGRAMS

Queen City Etiquette is happy to design an etiquette program to meet your group’s needs. The 90 minute “It’s a Manners Party” program meets all the requirements for Junior Girl Scouts to earn the “Social Butterfly” badge. There’s also a program for Brownie girl scouts to teach basic manners that can be used to prepare for selling cookies. Programs can also be designed to meet the badge requirements for American Heritage Girls and Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. Dina draws on both her knowledge of etiquette and her 9 years of experience as a Girl Scout leader when designing and conducting these programs.

INTERVIEW COACHING

Interviewing is an opportunity for you to communicate your strengths and abilities. It shouldn’t be stressful.

With coaching and practice, anyone can gain the confidence needed to do well in a job, scholarship, or college interview. Queen City Etiquette can help you or your child prepare for traditional and BEI (behavioral) interviews.

You will learn how to make a great first impression and tips for interviewing in person and over Skype.

Interview coaching combined with etiquette lessons can give your student an edge when attending an interview weekend at a university for special scholarship candidates.

Contact Dina today to set up individual coaching sessions.

FAQ

What should my child wear to the etiquette classes?

Most classes are casual dress, although students are always welcome to dress up if they’d like! Dressy attire is requested for Friday’s high tea with the elementary and middle school classes. That’s a skirt, dress, or dress slacks for girls; a shirt with collar and nice pants, and a jacket if you have it, for boys.

High school students attending the Interviewing Skills Seminar are highly encouraged to wear something they own that they would consider “interview appropriate.”

Where are classes held?

Classes are held in Montgomery, a suburb of Cincinnati, off of Pfeiffer Rd, between I-71 and Montgomery Road. This location is conveniently located close to the Montgomery Road Exit on I-275, and the Montgomery Road Exit of Ronald Reagan/Cross County Highway as well. The exact location will be in your registration confirmation email.

Can children with dietary restrictions/allergies and special needs take these classes?

Best efforts are made to accommodate special dietary restrictions and food allergies, as well as special needs. Most dietary restrictions and allergies (such as vegetarian, dairy free or an egg allergy) are easily accommodated. Occassionally, a parent may be asked to provide special food for a student so that the student can have an enjoyable dining experience alongside classmates.  A reasonable effort will be made to accommodate special needs students as well. If your child has dietary or other special needs, please contact Dina (dina@qcetiquette.com) prior to registration to discuss what can be done to make the class a positive experience for your child.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation requests must be made by writing (email is acceptable) and received two weeks prior to the start of a class. You will receive a refund of the class fee minus a $45 cancellation fee. If you must cancel less than 2 weeks prior to the start of class, you will receive a credit of 50% towards a future class.

What if my child has to miss a class?

If your child must miss a class, please contact Dina at 513-294-8188 prior to class so that she may plan accordingly. Your child will be welcome to come 15 minutes prior to the next class session to receive a brief explanation of what was missed in the prior class.

What if I have other questions?

Please don’t hesitate to contact Dina! She wants to make sure you and your child are completely comfortable prior to registering for a class.
